Born in Chișinău, Moldova, into a renowned family of musicians, Lilia Pocitari achieved international acclaim in 2023, winning first prize at the Bartók World Competition in Budapest, where she was also awarded the special prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary work. The jury's decision was unanimous. In 2025, she was awarded second prize at the Seoul International Violin Competition. Since then, Lilia Pocitari has enjoyed growing success as both a soloist and chamber musician. Lilia is currently pursuing her Konzertexamen at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin in the class of Prof. Ulf Wallin.

She achieved international acclaim in 2023, winning first prize at the Bartók World Competition in Budapest, where she was also awarded the special prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary work. The jury's decision was unanimous. In 2025, she was awarded second prize at the Seoul International Violin Competition.

Since then, Lilia Pocitari has enjoyed growing success as both a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed violin concertos by Bartók, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Paganini, and Mozart with prestigious ensembles, including the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Concerto Budapest, the San Remo Symphony Orchestra, the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. Her collaborations have included conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Julian Rachlin, András Keller, János Kovács, and Delyana Lazarova. Her interpretations are celebrated for their perfect balance of intellectual clarity and passionate expressiveness. As a dedicated chamber musician, Lilia has performed alongside artists such as Julian Rachlin, Denis Kozhukhin, Sarah McElravy, and Eckart Runge.

Following her bachelor’s degree in the class of Ilya Konovalov in Tel Aviv, Lilia is currently pursuing her Konzertexamen at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin in the class of Prof. Ulf Wallin. She has also received significant artistic inspiration through masterclasses with violinists including Pinchas Zukerman, Christian Tetzlaff, Vadim Gluzman, Silvia Marcovici, and Shmuel Ashkenazy.
